Surgical Oncology

Advanced care when you need it most.

We’re committed to providing advanced surgical treatment for all types and stages of cancer. At the Department of Surgery at Florida Medical Clinic, you can consult with a surgical oncologist who has specific experience with your exact diagnosis, whether that’s skin cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, or anything in between. And, we pride ourselves on providing highly individualized surgical oncology services, tailoring the specifics of your treatment plan to reflect your unique needs.

To determine the best approach to treatment, our surgical oncologists work hand-in-hand with the other medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and specialty physicians. By utilizing our extensive network of specialty providers, this allows us to not only decide which procedures to recommend but also when and how surgical treatment is best incorporated into your plan. Oftentimes, surgery is paired with one or more other treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy, and our collaborative approach allows us to make evidence-based recommendations for multidisciplinary care.

At Florida Medical Clinic, we’re committed to making it as simple as possible to access comprehensive cancer treatment under one roof. All of our providers are connected by our electronic health record system, through which they can share treatment plans, test results, and diagnostic images.

While you focus on getting better, we’re focused on making the entire process as simple and streamlined as possible. To schedule an appointment with our surgical oncology team, contact Florida Medical Clinic today.
