Tina was born and raised in Florida where she graduated from University of Florida. She relocated to Texas, earning her Masters of Science in Nursing from University of Texas at Austin for which she is a dual certified APRN as an Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Tina started working in healthcare as an EMT in 2011 and has worked as a nurse in emergency and cardiac electrophysiology departments. She is passionate about empowering patient choice through health education, health equity, and enhancing recovery through good nutrition.
When not caring for patients, Tina enjoys volunteering at community gardens and spending time outdoors at Florida’s beautiful state parks with family and friends.
