Our Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC’s) are the best choice for outpatient surgery and procedures. Licensed and staffed strictly for outpatient care, our facilities are designed to provide a safe, comfortable and successful environment for your outpatient needs.
A variety of our medical departments utilize the ASCs for their surgical needs, including:
- Gastroenterology — polyp removal through a colonoscopy examination has been shown to prevent 80% of colorectal cancers
- General Surgery
- Obstetrics, Gynecology & Midwifery
- Ophthalmology
- Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine & Spine
- Pain Management
- Podiatry
- Proctology
- Urology
- Vascular Surgery
We encourage you to discuss any health issues or potential surgical and procedural needs with our physicians and staff. We strive to make you feel at ease with the recommended course of treatment.
Procedures in the ASCs are performed under local anesthesia, conscious sedation, monitored anesthesia care, regional blocks and general anesthesia. Services may be provided by our physicians, as well as by other healthcare providers. Keep in mind, these providers may separately bill the patient and may or may not participate with the same health insurers or health maintenance organizations as the facility.
To view information on payments made to the facility for service bundles and procedures, please visit the Agency for Healthcare Administration pricing website at http://pricing.floridahealthfinder.gov.
Service bundle information is a non-personalized estimate of costs that may be incurred for the anticipated services; the actual costs charged will be based on the services actually provided to each patient. Patients and prospective patients may request a more personalized estimate of charges and other information from this facility and other health care providers. Patients and prospective patients should contact each healthcare practitioner who will provide services in the ASC to determine the health insurers and health maintenance organizations with which the health care practitioner participates as a network provider or preferred provider.
Anesthesia services for all surgical procedures are provided by in-house FMC providers. However, anesthesia for all Endoscopy/GI procedures (i.e. colonoscopy, EGD) is provided by outside providers from CRH Medical Corporation, who will bill patients separately for those services. For more information about CRH anesthesia billing and services, please contact CRH Patient Services by phone at (800) 242-5080 or via email at service@crhanesthesia.com.
