Kelly Powell received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Grambling State University in 1999, following which she worked for many years in a variety of nursing specialties including women’s and children’s, medical-surgical nursing, and school nursing.
She completed her Masters of Nursing at Northwestern State University in 2018, specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner, and has been working in Primary Care since moving from Louisiana to Florida during COVID.
Kelly has a blended family with 6 children, and 1 grandchild. Her philosophy of care is focused on giving the best quality of care with an emphasis on kindness and empathy while listening to patient’s health concerns. She loves spending time with her family and going to the beach when possible.
