A native to Tampa, Dr. Sonal Patel completed her medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine followed by Internal Medicine residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia and Endocrinology fellowship at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. She has served as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology at Drexel University/Hahnemann Hospital and is a Fellow in the American College of Endocrinology.
In addition, Dr. Patel has participated in academic research studies, advised on hospital diabetes care policies and has given several presentations including grand rounds, conferences and community lectures.
When not working, Dr. Patel enjoys playing the piano, practicing yoga, and baking. She is dedicated to treating you and your family with the skills and compassion you need to support your emotional and spiritual well being and improve your overall quality of life.
