About Julio A. Gonzalez-Paoli, MD
Dr. Gonzalez Paoli was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He obtained his BA degree and attended medical school there, before coming to the University of South Florida in Tampa for his residency in Internal Medicine and, eventually, his fellowship in Rheumatology.
He’s a third generation physician and has been practicing locally since 2012. He has a special interest in novel therapies for rheumatic diseases and is involved in research, and also enjoys medical education, along with lecturing on these topics.
Outside of the office, Dr. Gonzalez spends his days with his wife, two daughters and four dogs. He enjoys traveling and watching his girls play volleyball, as well as playing tennis in his free time.
