Your Home for Outpatient Surgery Needs

The North Tampa Ambulatory Surgery Center and the Special Procedures Surgery Center- Zephyrhills are outpatient surgical centers that provide specific services specific to the outpatient setting. Licensed and staffed strictly for outpatient procedures and surgeries, these facilities are designed to provide a safe, comfortable and successful environment for your outpatient needs.

A variety of cases are offered between the two centers, including Gastroenterology (polyp removal through colonoscopy examination prevents 80% of colorectal cancers),Urology, Gynecology, Pain Management, Proctology, Cosmetic/Plastics, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Vascular Surgery and Pacemaker Battery Changes, in addition to other procedures appropriate to the outpatient environment.

As our valued patient, we encourage you to discuss your health issues and potential surgical and procedural needs with our physicians and staff, who will strive to make you feel at ease with the recommended course of treatment.

Procedures in these facilities are performed under local anesthesia, conscious sedation, monitored anesthesia care, regional blocks and general anesthesia. In these ASCs, services may be provided by the facility as well as by other health care providers who may separately bill the patient and who may or may not participate with the same health insurers or health maintenance organizations as the facility.

To view information on payments made to the facility for service bundles and procedures, you can visit the Agency for Healthcare Administration’s pricing website at Service bundle information is a non-personalized estimate of costs that may be incurred for the anticipated services; the actual costs charged will be based on the services actually provided to each patient. Patients and prospective patients may request from this facility and other health care providers a more personalized estimate of charges and other information. Patients and prospective patients should contact each health care practitioner who will provide services in the ASC to determine the health insurers and health maintenance organizations with which the health care practitioner participates as a network provider or preferred provider.

Anesthesia services for all procedures and surgeries are provided by in-house FMC providers.

Hours for both locations: 5:30am – 4:30pm
