"I feel like I hit the health-care lotto"
It has been a couple of months since my surgery and I feel like I hit the health-care lotto in going from a less than exceptional experience dealing with an acute diverticulitis attack at a local hospital to sincere and superior care from Dr. Clark and his primary nurse Jessica. Too often a patient doesn't feel they're getting a personal connection in the communications and exchanges with their physician and respective staff - the business side tends to come through. Not so with this pair -- clear communication, a desire for me to understand and engage in the discussion of my treatment and an open path to any follow-on treatment based on need. The procedure went great and my recovery was right on par with what they told me to expect if I followed recommended guidelines. I am very grateful to them for the care and support I received....
