Dr. Shimberg is an Internal Medicine physician who enjoys treating the patient as a whole person. He specializes in diabetes, high cholesterol and hypertension. He has a special interest in preventative health and cancer screening. Dr. Shimberg sees patients through their best and worst of times and works to make each patient feel like family.
Dr. Shimberg was born and raised in Tampa and is excited to have moved back home with his wife. They are expecting their first child this summer (2024). He is an avid Tampa bay Lightning fan and enjoys travel, hiking, CrossFit and Peloton.
