Dr. Taylor Kann is a board-certified rheumatologist dedicated to the diagnosis and management of complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, followed by her Rheumatology fellowship at the University of Central Florida. A member of Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society, Dr. Kann is actively involved in the American College of Rheumatology and Florida Society of Rheumatology.
Dr. Kann specializes in the diagnosis and management of inflammatory arthritis including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis, as well as systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, crystal arthropathies, Sjögren’s syndrome, myositis, and scleroderma. Her clinical interests focus on early diagnosis of inflammatory arthritis, optimization and monitoring of biologic and targeted therapies, and treat-to-target strategies in rheumatologic disease. Her patient care philosophy centers on building strong, trusting relationships with patients while using evidence-based medicine to treat their chronic autoimmune conditions. She prioritizes patient education, safety, and long-term continuity of care to achieve the best possible outcomes.
An active researcher and educator, Dr. Kann has presented at numerous national and regional conferences and has taught medical students and residents. When not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and visiting Disney World.
