Sharelle Smith, APRN

Sharelle Smith, APRN is an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with experience in surgical, inpatient and outpatient care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, completing the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program, and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Sharelle has a strong background in surgical care, including thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, with experience in surgical first assisting, perioperative care, hospital rounding, wound management, diagnostic testing and care coordination. Her clinical interests include patient-centered care and surgical services.

Sharelle is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and believes in building trusting relationships through communication, respect and shared decision-making. She works collaboratively with patients, families and healthcare teams to provide individualized care that supports each patient’s needs and goals.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach and reading.
