About Seth Cooper, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Seth Cooper practices general orthopaedic surgery, with a subspecialty in the treatment of traumatic orthopaedic injuries. Having completed a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma at Vanderbilt University, Dr. Cooper has the tools and ability to take care of complex musculoskeletal injuries. This includes fractures of upper and lower extremities, as well as fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum (hip socket). Dr. Cooper also has extensive training in hip and knee replacement surgery.
Dr. Cooper approaches both joint replacements and trauma surgery with the same goal: getting his patients back to living their normal life. Whether a patient is wanting to be able to walk after a joint replacement or return to high level sports after a fracture, he wants to help all his patients reach their desired outcome. He approaches each case as a unique one, tailoring his treatment options to what is best for that individual patient. Dr. Cooper also specializes in the treatment of fractures that heal in an inappropriate position (malunion) or those that do not heal completely (nonunion).
Along with his team at Florida Medical Clinic, Dr. Cooper is committed to helping each and every patient throughout the entire process, providing them with the same care he would want delivered to his own family.
