Renee Lafferman is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist with over three decades of experience in clinical nutrition and wellness. She earned her Master of Science in Nutrition from Hood College and her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics/Nutrition from the University of Maryland. As a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Renee brings specialized expertise in bariatric nutrition and weight management.
Renee’s clinical focus includes nutrition concerns related to obesity, weight management, diabetes, hypertension, elevated lipids, gestational diabetes, and healthy eating strategies. With extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, she provides comprehensive nutrition assessments, individual counseling, and group education programs. Her philosophy centers on promoting overall well-being through personalized nutrition strategies, understanding each individual’s unique needs, preferences, and life circumstances to empower sustainable lifestyle changes that improve overall health.
