Michol Cooper, MD

Michol Cooper, MD, PhD is a board-certified vascular surgeon with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. She earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and completed her general surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by a vascular surgery fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. She also holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Cooper specializes in the treatment of aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, peripheral artery disease, chronic mesenteric ischemia, dialysis access, and other complex vascular conditions. She has extensive experience in both open and minimally invasive endovascular procedures and is committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care.

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Cooper serves as an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Florida, where she is actively involved in clinical research, physician education, and advancing the field of vascular surgery. She is dedicated to helping patients understand their condition and working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes.
