Melissa LaFleur, APRN

Melissa LaFleur, APRN, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner providing primary care for patients of all ages. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Tampa, graduating summa cum laude, and is an active member of both Sigma Theta Tau and Phi Kappa Phi.

Melissa brings a diverse clinical background with experience in primary care, women’s health, pediatrics, and critical care nursing. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked in high-acuity settings including cardiovascular and medical intensive care units, where she developed a strong foundation in patient-centered care and clinical decision-making.

She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care, with an emphasis on clear communication and personalized treatment plans. Melissa is passionate about empowering individuals and families to take an active role in their health and overall well-being.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and four pets. She values both adventurous family vacations and quiet days at home, finding joy in the simple moments.

*For the health and safety of all our patients, we are unable to see pediatric patients who have not been vaccinated. Our practice asks that all pediatric patients follow an immunization schedule as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).  Vaccinating children on time protects them, as well anyone around them with a weakened immune system, from potentially serious diseases.
