Dr. Sanaka’s Training
Dr. Sanaka received his medical training from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India, and completed a combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency at New York Medical College Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York City. He completed fellowships in gastroenterology at Case Western Reserve University MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland and in advanced endoscopy at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Sanaka is certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and a member of the American Gastroenterological Association,
Dr. Sanaka has won awards for his scientific papers, and his work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals. He also serves as a reviewer for several journals related to gastroenterology and endoscopy.
Outside of work, he enjoys badminton, volleyball, carpentry and gardening.
Dr. Sanaka is fluent in English and Hindi.
