Dr. Walker is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. He earned his medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Walker takes a collaborative approach to patient care, fostering strong relationships through shared decision-making and education. His clinical expertise includes diabetes management with a focus on evidence-based nutritional approaches, treatment of myofascial pain and musculoskeletal conditions, joint and trigger point injections, dermatological procedures, and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS). He is particularly passionate about addressing polypharmacy and working with patients to thoughtfully reduce medication burden when appropriate, believing that sometimes the best treatment involves removing unnecessary medications rather than adding more. Dr. Walker also emphasizes proper nutrition and lipid management, incorporating current research to guide patient care beyond traditional dietary recommendations.
When not treating patients, Dr. Walker enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, and exploring the outdoors.
