Kristine Sferra is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in hospital-based medicine and post-operative surgical care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Tampa and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Petersburg College. With over a decade of advanced practice experience, Kristine specializes in managing complex medical and surgical patients in acute care settings.
Kristine’s clinical expertise focuses on internal medicine, post-operative care management, and surgical co-management. She has extensive experience working with adult patients across multiple surgical specialties, providing comprehensive care from surgical recovery through discharge planning. Her background includes hospitalist care, geriatric medicine, and critical care nursing in the NICU.
She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has been recognized through Optum’s APEX Program for Advanced Practice Excellence.
