Kathryn Waterman is a certified physician assistant (PA-C), specializing in trauma and acute care surgery. With extensive experience since 2012, she has managed critical injuries and assisted in surgeries, performing various invasive procedures such as chest tube thoracotomy, Foley catheter insertion, and arterial line placement. Kathryn is also skilled in providing wound care and administering outpatient follow-up care.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from SUNY-Stony Brook in New York and went on to obtain her master’s in physician assistant studies from Touro School of Health Sciences in Bayshore, New York. Kathryn is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of Pi Alpha, a national honor society for physician assistants. Her experience also includes working in intensive care, pulmonology, and radiology.
