Dr. Milby provides comprehensive orthopedic trauma care from the simplest injuries to the most complex and severe cases of multiple trauma. He treats every patient as if they are a member of his own family.
Every patient’s injury and goals for recovery are unique. Dr. Milby works closely with each patient and their family, using evidence based medicine and shared decision making, to identify the treatment plan that best fits their individual needs. He considers it a privilege to be able to care for patients on what may be one of the most traumatic days of their life.
Dr. Milby puts great effort into continuously learning and honing his craft to best serve his patients in their time of need. When his patients are recovered from their injury and his time with them is done, it is his hope that they can say that they felt they were listened to, respected, comforted, and received exceptional care.
Dr. Milby serves as an active lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve Medical Corps based at Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command in Jacksonville, Florida.
When not providing for his patients, Dr. Milby enjoys spending time with his wife and family, fishing, hiking, traveling, running, and barbequing.
