Helen Techler is a board-certified audiologist, bringing over 30 years of experience to her practice. She offers a range of services, including audiology consultations, hearing aid prescriptions and fittings, and electrophysiology testing. Helen is dedicated to helping patients of all ages with their communication needs.
Helen received her bachelor’s degree in education and her Master of Science in audiology from the University of South Florida in Tampa, graduating summa cum laude. She further earned her doctorate in audiology (Au.D.) from A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences, also graduating summa cum laude.
Previously, Helen served as the director of audiology at the University of California-Irvine Medical Center, where she also worked as an audiologist and associate clinical professor. At USF, she supervised graduate students in audiology and speech pathology as a clinical professor.
She is certified by the American Board of Audiology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Additionally, she is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is licensed as an audiologist by the Florida Department of Health. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Audiology, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the Florida Academy of Audiology.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Helen is a former professional figure skater with the Holiday on Ice National Tour. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, ballroom dancing, painting, singing, playing the piano, and cruising.
