Gaurav Kumar, MD

Dr. Gaurav Kumar is a board-certified radiologist specializing in vascular, interventional, and diagnostic radiology. He completed fellowships in cardiovascular and interventional radiology at the University of Minnesota and neuroradiology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.

Dr. Kumar has extensive experience performing a wide range of image-guided vascular and interventional procedures, with clinical interests in oncologic interventions, hepatobiliary interventions, stroke imaging, and prostate artery embolization. Throughout his career, he has held numerous leadership and academic roles, including Section Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Chief of Radiology, and Site Director for a radiology residency program.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kumar is passionate about resident education and has been actively involved in teaching, curriculum development, and mentoring throughout his career. He is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care through advanced imaging expertise, precision, and collaboration.
