Chidinma Touray, DNP, APRN, AGACNP-BC is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of healthcare experience spanning critical care, cardiovascular medicine and acute inpatient care. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida and is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Dr. Touray worked for many years as a critical care registered nurse, caring for patients in cardiovascular, medical-surgical and neuro intensive care units. Her clinical experience includes cardiovascular critical care, cardiothoracic surgery, nephrology and pulmonology, giving her a well-rounded foundation in managing patients with complex medical conditions.
Dr. Touray believes in building trusting relationships with her patients through open communication, compassion and collaboration. She is dedicated to helping patients understand their heart health and empowering them to take an active role in achieving their best possible outcomes.
