Avina Duong, DO is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who earned her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. She also earned a Master of Science in Medical Sciences with a concentration in Aging and Neuroscience from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.
Dr. Duong provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, with clinical interests in preventive medicine, women’s health, weight management, chronic disease management, mental health, migraine management, and office-based procedures, including joint injections and dermatologic procedures.
Dr. Duong believes great primary care begins with listening and building trusting relationships with her patients. She emphasizes prevention, education, and shared decision-making to help patients work toward meaningful and realistic health goals. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and cafés, spending time with family and friends, staying connected to Vietnamese culture, and spending time with her Maltipoo, Luna.
