Angela M. Turner, DO, was born and raised in the Midwest and earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency and fellowship in cardiology at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Following her fellowship, Dr. Turner served as an attending cardiologist and assistant professor at the University of South Florida, where she was involved in clinical research and training future cardiologists. She is board certified in cardiology and internal medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Turner is also a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, and the American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Turner has traveled throughout the U.S. and to Africa for medical missions work. She is passionate about heart disease prevention, women’s cardiac health, and partnering with patients to help them maintain long, active lives.
