  • Accepting new patients
About Alyssa Zwarych, MD

Dr. Zwarych was born in California but has lived most of her life in Florida. She enjoys hiking, running, and spending time with her family and her rescued greyhounds.

Please note: Dr. Zwarych is only accepting newborns (first visit after birth) and new pediatric patients. *She is not accepting new adult patients at this time.

*For the health and safety of all our patients, we are unable to see pediatric patients who have not been vaccinated. Our practice asks that all pediatric patients follow an immunization schedule as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).  Vaccinating children on time protects them, as well anyone around them with a weakened immune system, from potentially serious diseases.

Common Questions about Vaccines for Children

Alyssa Zwarych, MD

Through continuing advances in medical science, children are now protected from more diseases than ever before. In fact, cases of potentially serious and life-threatening conditions—including polio, measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough—have seen a major reduction in the United States. This is largely due to the availability of safe and effective vaccines for […]

Keeping Your Kids Healthy This School Year

Testimonials

"Very comfortable with her caring for me and my family."

We are new to FL & I have numerous medical issues. Dr Zwarych listened to all of my history & asked questions and was truly interested in me and my well-being. She also met with me and my sons and through the chaos of them talking and playing, she listened to every detail about their history and cares to learn more and help. I feel very comfortable with her caring for me and my family.

"I have total confidence in Dr. Zwarych"

My experience with Dr. Zwarych has always been positive. Her thoroughness, competence and cheerful demeanor in each visit is impressive. She is always aware of my health and outstanding issues; reviews and discusses all lab results as well as trends and other observations; follows up on all appointments and tests done by other doctors; and, cross checks my meds with self inflicted vitamins and supplements. I have total confidence in Dr. Zwarych and am fortunate to be in her care.

"Cheerful and competent demeanor"

It is apparent that she reviews my file before my appointment because she asks follow-up questions regarding prior visits. She either knows or finds the answers to any questions I may have and I never feel rushed. Her cheerful and competent demeanor always brightens my day - a real plus when you have to visit a doctor!

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Zwarych for several years. When looking for a doctor I was trying to find a family doctor who could oversee my kids’ health as well as mine. I wanted to ensure that the doctor I chose would be someone who knew our entire family situation and history. It also gives me peace of mind to know that my kids can now see her as adults and they don’t have to search for a new provider.Dr. Zwarych has an amazing bedside manner, takes time to really listen and has your best interest at heart. She is a consummate professional and very knowledgeable which results in you receiving the right care. As an added bonus, the staff in the office are always kind and courteous as well.If you are looking for a great primary care practitioner I highly recommend Dr. Zwarych!... Read More +

Dr. Zwarych has been our family doctor for the last 10+ years. We began seeing her when she was with her former Practice in Tampa. Once she left that practice, we searched until we found her at Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health. We travel about an hour from our home, each way, to her office in Wesley Chapel and she is well worth the trip.As my husband often says, Dr. Z is the only doctor he will go to. When I was having serious health issues she continued to run test until she found the cause of my illness, as well as diagnosing and treating my husband and daughter with their health issues. Dr. Z goes above and beyond ! My family and I have never met a doctor who is so kind, caring, compassionate and down to earth. DR. Z makes you feel like you are the most important patient there is, taking her time to listen to you, support you and explain everything to you. I can't image what our lives would be like health wise if it wasn't for Dr. Z keeping us healthy. A million "thank you's" could never be enough.... Read More +
