Aimal Nikamal, MD

Dr. Aimal Nikamal is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with extensive experience in hospital medicine and physician leadership. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, along with a Hospitalist Leadership Fellowship.

He has more than five years of experience as a hospitalist, including roles as a medical director, post-acute care hospitalist, and hospitalist faculty within a Family Medicine residency program, and was honored with a Physician of the Year award in 2023.Dr. Nikamal is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for hospitalized patients, with a strong commitment to mentorship, teaching, and community health.

Earlier in his career, he provided care for underserved populations, including new immigrants and individuals experiencing homelessness. He values collaboration across care teams and strives to ensure patients receive thorough, attentive care throughout their hospital stay.
