Specialized Bone Health Care to Protect Strength, Mobility and Independence

Bone loss often has no symptoms until a fracture happens. At Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health Bone Health Clinic, we help identify risk early with advanced diagnostics, bone density testing and personalized treatment plans designed to help you stay active and independent.

Expert Bone Health Care Focused on Prevention

People don’t usually think about bone health until something breaks. Our goal is to help you protect the life you want to keep living. The Bone Health Clinic at Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health focuses on early detection, osteoporosis education, bone density testing and personalized treatment to help reduce fracture risk before it affects your mobility or independence.

Osteoporosis is often called a “silent disease” because bone loss can happen without obvious symptoms. Screening can help detect risk early.

Common reasons to seek evaluation:

  • A prior fracture after age 40
  • Low bone density or osteopenia
  • Family history of osteoporosis or fracture
  • Post-menopausal bone loss concerns
  • Long-term steroid use or other risk factors

Early Screening Can Help Protect Your Independence

When bones become weaker, even a minor fall can lead to a serious fracture. The Bone Health Clinic is designed to help patients understand their risk and create a plan to support stronger bones and healthier aging. The current department page notes that osteoporosis and related fractures can rob patients of mobility and independence, and that bone density testing is quick and non-invasive.
