Ignacio A. Sotolongo, MD, FACP, FASN

Ignacio A. Sotolongo, MD, FACP, FASN is a board-certified Internal Medicine and Nephrology physician with more than 30 years of experience. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Metropolitan Hospital Center/New York Medical College, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a Nephrology fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Sotolongo has extensive experience in consultative nephrology, including the care of patients with complex kidney conditions in critical care, heart surgery, and trauma settings. Throughout his career, he has held numerous physician leadership and teaching positions and has served as a medical director for several dialysis centers.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Sotolongo enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and dining with his wife, mentoring his sons, and fishing.
