Karen Goodwin, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant with more than 20 years of surgical experience across a wide range of specialties, including cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, general, robotic, and minimally invasive surgery. She earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky.
Karen has extensive experience assisting in complex surgical procedures and providing perioperative patient care in both hospital and surgical settings. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with multidisciplinary surgical teams and has developed advanced expertise in robotic and minimally invasive procedures.
In addition to her clinical work, Karen has served in leadership and educational roles, including mentoring surgical staff, supporting robotic surgery programs, and helping coordinate training and quality initiatives within the operating room setting.
She is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on safety, collaboration, and surgical excellence.
