Shirin McLaughlin is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with extensive critical care experience. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida College of Nursing, and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Shirin’s clinical expertise encompasses infectious disease, trauma surgical services, and acute palliative care. Her experience includes managing patients with complex conditions such as acute respiratory distress syndrome, sepsis and septic shock, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. She has provided care across multiple settings including trauma intensive care units, step-down units, and outpatient clinics.
With her background serving as a nursing preceptor and member of patient safety committees, Shirin is committed to excellence in patient care and the advancement of nursing practice.
