Mariena Gonzalez APRN, MSN, AGACNP-BC, CCRN

Mariena Gonzalez is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with specialized expertise in critical care medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida College of Nursing, receiving the Excellence in Professional Service Award. She holds both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an Associate of Science in Nursing from State College of Florida, and is certified in critical care nursing (CCRN).

Mariena’s clinical interests focus on ICU care, critical care medicine, and neurology. Her passion for healthcare stems from a deeply personal experience. That experience shaped her approach to patient care and drives her commitment to compassionate communication during the most frightening moments in patients’ and families’ lives. She believes in speaking to patients and their families at their level of understanding, always mindful that it could be their scariest day, and that her impact could influence someone else’s life.

Outside of work, Mariena enjoys spending quality time with her family, cooking, and creating fun memories together.
