Chelsey Shepos, O.D. is a board-certified optometrist specializing in comprehensive eye exams, dry eye disease, advanced contact lens fittings, managing ocular disease, and pre and post-operative care. She completed additional training fitting specialty contact lenses including scleral, rigid gas permeable, and hybrid lenses.
Dr. Shepos was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She completed her bachelor’s degree at The Pennsylvania State University and went on to receive her doctorate degree at Pennsylvania College of Optometry with Magna Cum Laude distinction. Dr. Shepos completed a one-year residency at Newsom Eye in Tampa, FL where she was involved with FDA studies for Epithelial-On Corneal Crosslinking and AcrySof IQ ReSTOR Toric Intraocular Lens. She has a wide range of clinical training, having worked in private and group practices, VA Medical Center, and ophthalmology clinics. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, National Optometric Association, and Florida Optometric Association.
Dr. Shepos enjoys spending time with her family and taking long, leisurely walks with her dog, Luna. Her hobbies include exercising, traveling, and creative, yet healthy cooking.
