About Daniel E. Murphy, MD
Dr. Murphy is a native of Tampa. He is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine and received his Orthopaedic training at Orlando Regional Healthcare System. He joined his father’s practice in 1998, and in 2016, Tampa Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine became a part of Florida Medical Clinic.
Dr. Murphy is a board certified Orthopaedic surgeon and has his sub-specialty certification in Orthopaedic sports medicine. He has been a Team Physician for the New York Yankees since 2012, and has also served as a Team Physician for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since 2015.
