Dr. Saraiya (pronounced Sa-rye’-ah) began his medical career as an Orthopaedic Surgeon and trained in India and England. He came to the United States and furthered his education in Internal Medicine at Christ Community Hospital in Chicago. He came to Zephyrhills/North Tampa area in 1989. He is co founder of Florida Medical Clinic and serves presently as a Board of Director. Married with two children, he is an active volunteer for a global charity involved in education of underprivileged children. From 2003 through 2007 he served as the national (USA) president for this charity and donates part of his salary for this cause.
