Our Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine is made up of a team of professionals that includes: physicians with advanced training in wound management; nursing staff trained in the care of chronic wounds and technicians who perform noninvasive studies and various therapies. There are many different types of wounds. Some are associated with complications from diabetes and other related vascular disorders. Other types include pressure sores and traumatic wounds. It can be very frustrating and time consuming to heal these wounds. At the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine, we utilize the most up-to-date approaches to wound healing and remain current in new scientific advances in wound care.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a treatment in which the patient breathes 100% oxygen inside a pressurized chamber. The therapy quickly delivers high concentrations of oxygen to the bloodstream, assists in the healing process of wounds and is effective in fighting certain types of infections.
During your course of treatment, our Center will work with your regular physician to assure complete continuity of all your medical services.

Testimonial:
To the Director or Directors:
I would like you to know that the Wound Center is the Greatest, and would like to personally thank you. I have been given the very best care I have ever received at a Hospital, or in this case The Wound Center.
You are very lucky to have Dr. Tsambiras, MD, working for your Hospital.
I filled out one of your surveys but the ratings were only 1 to 5, I think they are better than (5).
The staff and nurses are excellent, and very professional.
I think you should recognize these three nurses whom I have had the pleasure of knowing, that go up, up and beyond just being nurses. They should be recognized for making the patient feel relaxed and there bed side manor. Linda, Marty and Mary
Thank you again,
Richard Holloway
