Born in Kenya, Dr.Vyas spent the first twelve years of his life in Africa. At age thirteen, his family moved to India where he remained until completing medical school. Later, he moved to Botswana where he was appointed as the Personal Physician to the President of Botswana. Dr. Vyas considers this appointment one of his highest personal honors of his life. From 1999-2004, Dr. Vyas was an Assistant clinical Professor at Wayne State University in Detroit. Married with two children, he is active in family activities. Hobbies include tennis, racquetball, badminton, reading, and playing bridge.
