Dr. Mardo is board certified by both the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Clinical Genetics. Dr. Mardo was born in Mexico City and received her medical degree from LaSalle University School of Medicine in Mexico City, where she graduated 3rd in her class and received an Academic Excellence Award. Dr. Mardo was appointed chief resident of her Family Medicine residency program at Lutheran Medical Center, an affiliate of the State University of New York. Following her family medicine training, Dr. Mardo completed her Clinical Genetics fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she was awarded the Nielson Fellowship in Medical Genetics, and had her research published by the American Journal of Medical Genetics. Dr. Mardo joined Florida Medical Clinic in 2007. Dr Mardo provides comprehensive family care and is fluent in Spanish.
