Born in the Philippines, Dr. Mulingtapang has provided medical mission work in Central America and Asia. In 2006, he started the first ACGME accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship program at the University of South Florida. His cardiology interests include percutaneous and endovascular therapy of peripheral vascular disease, carotid stenting, cardiac valvular disease, and closures of congenital cardiac defects. Hobbies include traveling, biking and table tennis.
