Gastrointestinal Surgery

Compassionate care every step of the way.

Florida Medical Clinic offers the latest advances in gastrointestinal surgery, performing traditional (open) and minimally invasive procedures for a variety of conditions. Each year, our gastrointestinal surgeons perform thousands of procedures involving the esophagus, stomach, liver, pancreas, bile ducts, and gallbladder, translating to an exceptional level of surgical expertise.

And, because we use the most advanced surgical technologies available, we are able to provide the highest caliber of care for virtually any gastrointestinal condition, be it gastrointestinal reflux disease, hepatitis, colorectal cancer, or anything in between.

Sometimes, as in the case of a malignant tumor, surgery is considered the primary type of treatment; for other conditions, such as ulcerative colitis, it is only suggested if other non-surgical treatments have not been effective. At Florida Medical Clinic, we understand that surgery is a major decision, and our team will help each patient select the right option for their needs. We offer a comprehensive spectrum of surgical treatments and tailor our recommendations to each patientā€™s specific diagnosis.
