Born in Curacao, Dr. Mahtani has actually spent most of her life and education in the Northeast United States. Aside from her avid love of medicine, she has spent a lot of her time volunteering at various local community centers and international rural areas. She specialized in family medicine and is proficient in Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and Papiamento. In her free time she enjoys traveling with her family.
