Tell us about your experience at Florida Medical Clinic.

On November 8, 2010, I had the pleasure of being serviced for a Nuclesr Stress Test procedure by staff members Dr. Medina, Alecia. Cindy. and Iris at the 14320 Bruce B. Downs Blvd. Heart Health Institute at Florida Medical Clinic. They were very knowledgeable, professional,and friendly. I feel that the care they provided was of the highest quality.

I have been a patient at Florida Medical for four years(since I moved to Florida) and have been very satisfied with every service I have recieved.

I do not even know where to begin; I have been with Florida Medical for years. Here are the awesome doctors I see. I see Alise Pastorik ARNP, DHSc-BC, MS (Family Medicine): she is the most caring and determined doctor there is. I have had many health issues in the past and she does not stop until she finds the problem and then makes sure I get to the right doctor. I cannot say enough about her. Over the years, I have also seen Dr. Nancy Finnerty, MD PhD (Family Medicine) she also is full of wisdom. I see Dr. Amarilis Torres, MD (Rheumatology), recommended by Alise. Dr. Torres has treated me for a number of years also and we have made great strides. My arthritis is better, I have Osteoporosis and she is treating me for that. She sent me to Dr. Ira Guttentag, MD, FACS he did a total knee replace one month then the next month he did the other knee and have had no trouble. I then had problems with my back Dr. Torres sent me to Dr. Lucy Love she did back surgery and I can honestly say the pain is a lot better then it was this time last year. I also contribute it Dr. Neil Weisman and Carol Rodriquez ARNP who Dr. Torres recommended. After the back surgery I had scar tissue so it was causing nerve damage and after two rounds of nerve block and a new medication most days are pretty much pain free to the point I can do stuff. I am not sure if I will ever be 100% pain free but I am happy and content with where I am at now. I also have COPD, wanta talk about an excellent Pulmonolgy that is Dr. Juan Cevallos, MD. In my book, he is the best I know of. When I had stomach and GERD issues Alise sent me to Dr. Mark Eisner MD, he was able to run the needed test and got me fixed up and have been able to follow up with Alise. I think the biggest struggle we had was when I had to have a heart stent put in Dr. Roberto P. Medina, MD, FACC (Cardiology) put it in since then I have followed up with Dr. Vladimir Curkovic, MD, FACC (Cardiology). Sometimes after the stent you still have problems with blood pressure and Alise was right there with me working until we got it under control. Don’t wanta forget one of my other regular doctor’s and that is Dr. Barkat Khan, MD he takes care of me and meds to keep me and my mind in tune. You might think that’s what they get paid for, but it’s the extra mile each and every one of my doctors have gone for me and I thank each and everyone of them. Recently I met Dr. Neil Weisman and his staff at the Tampa facility, they have a bed side manner that I have never seen in my life (54). I was very sceptical because in the 6 years I have lived in Florida, not one Dr. showed any concern, just wrote presciptions or ordered physical therapy. Glad I gave it one more shot with Dr. Weisman.
They were so pleasant, knowledgable and just all around great. Constantly smiling and joking, even with the Dr.and as busy as they were, even with the moods and attitudes that some of the patients had, how do they do it.
it was such a pleasure even when I had to have my procedure done in the Land O' Lakes office, nothing changed. It even made my husband think about having his Knee done- needs a repacement, but thinks maybe Dr. Wiesman can help. I highly recommend Dr. Weisman and his staff to anyone that may need to see a Dr. of his caliper, and to have people around you that care, it helps with the process. Thank you ALL for being there.

Words cannot say how thankful I am that Dr. Cronen performed my surgery. I was very skeptical of him and thought he was just like all the other work comp DR.'s who just tell you nothing is wrong with you, pop some pills, go to work. He actually suprised me with his wanting to help get to the bottom of my constant state of pain that I have experienced for almost two years now.I have lived a painful limited life. I know I have a long time to full recovery but I feel I am finally on that road to recovery and cannot wait to get back to my life. I just want to express my gratitude to him for what he has done. I would recomend Dr.Cronen to anybody he is an excellent spine surgeon. I would like to also add that his surgery cordinator Tasha Gross was very nice, patient, helpful, and understanding of what I was going thru with the anxiety and anticipation of the surgery. I have to be honest and say I cannot say the same of some of the nursing staff, but with the help Tasha and Dr. Cronen gave I still highly recomend his office. I cannot wait to play with my 10 kids again. Thank you again Dr. Cronen.
